Our 2nd Annual Oktoberfest is right around the corner and its time to sign up for the competitions! To participate in our fun Oktoberfest games and activities SIGN UP at Rusty Axe Brewing at the bar. Starting with: #1 - 1st Annual Rusty Axe Beer Run at 2pm - Must be 21 to enter! Entrants will run a 1 mile route, while stopping for an 8oz beer every 1/4 mile. There is a $25 entry fee, of which a portion of each fee will be given to Kurth Animal Shelter! #2 - Stein Hoisting Competition (Masskrugstemmen) at 4:30pm - A 1 liter stein will be loaned out from Rusty Axe, und each entrant will have a $12 entrance fee to pay for the bier. #3 - Barrel Rolling Race (Fassrollen) at 4:40pm - This event is for teams of 2 persons. One contestant knocks the barrel over und rolls it one way und then the other rolls it back across. Fastest team wins. #4 - Yodeling Contest (Jodelwettbewerb) at 7:15pm - Calling all crooners, singers und troubadours! This could be Bavarian style or country style. Come show off your acapella vibrato skills und WOW us all! #5 - Crosscut Log Sawing Competition (Holzsägen) at 7:30pm - Cosponsored by SFA Sylvans Timbersports.
